AT&T and Starbucks Partnership

I was never a fan of the Starbucks wifi plan with T-Mobile. I'm paying for the coffee, I'm paying for the phone service and I'm paying for the wifi use... What kind of partnership is this??? On Monday Starbucks announced that they are switching to AT&T this Spring. To sweeten the deal, the wifi connection fee w/o an AT&T Internet plan is cheaper than it was with T-Mobile phone service and free with an AT&T account.

According to the NY Times: "Nearly all of AT&T's broadband Internet customers, about 12 million, will automatically have unlimited free Wi-Fi access at Starbucks, the companies said." Read More...

This perk will extend to AT&T wireless phone customers in the future as well. Too cool!
