Today is the day we celebrate environmentalism. The first Earth Day was held in 1970 and we've come a long way since then!
I was so pleased to hear WMFE, Orlando's NPR affiliate station, announcing a special Earth Day promotion this morning. They have partnered with American Forests to plant trees in Hal Scott Preserve and Park when listeners contribute to the station. Learn more by clicking here.
One of my favorite conservation sites is the Sierra Club. I have a special affinity for John Muir and I grew up reading the Sierra Club magazine. Plus, the site has interesting videos, informative articles and the cool Legislative Bill Tracker.
Check it out and make every day Earth Day!
