Trip to Newport

I spent the last few days attending the Newport Boat Show. It was my first time visiting this charming town and I loved it. The boat show was a success for our group and everyone near Rhode Island should check it out this weekend. We have officially started the exciting and exhausting boat show season. Up and down the coast, towns are showing off their marinas, boat folks are networking and shopping, and the mega yachts are in the spotlight.


Ballroom by Edward Gordon

This gorgeous painting really made an impression on me. It's in the window at Reign Gallery located on Thames St. The painting shows a ballroom with a beautiful view of the sea through a wall lined with windows. The position of the bright sun and the shadow from nearby buildings make it hard to really view it well but believe me when I stay it was stunning.
