Rays Win! Rays Win!

Last night, Eric and I enjoyed a historic moment. Even our little pup Masha was jumping for joy as the Rays team shared an epic group hug in St Pete.


Have you seen the headlines? "go cRAYSy!" and "Rays the Roof!" It's true, our Rays have won the American League Championship Series and are headed to the World Series!


MVP Matt Garza puts it best: "People were happy when we got our 71st win, people were excited when we got our 81st win. People kept saying, 'You guys are going to falter in August and September. You guys are going to falter when you face Chicago [in the ALDS]. You guys don't match up well against Boston.' We just kept telling each other, 'Keep fighting, keep believing.'"


In the 8th inning, Rookie David Price gave the term closer a whole new meaning. He literally slammed the door on the Red Sox.
