Congratulations to Rickey Henderson! Today he was elected to join the Hall of Fame with 94.8% of votes. I was a huge A's fan while growing up in San Jose, CA and loved watching Rickey steal bases at the Coliseum. During my recent trip to Cooperstown I began the countdown for Rickey's induction. I'm so happy he will be honored for his many achievements and records this year.
The Hall of Fame is one of the coolest places to visit. Check out my intense photo tour here. The HOF is right up there with Muir Woods in California, the Accademia in Florence, Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island, and the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.
If you love baseball, you need to visit the epicenter in Cooperstown, NY.
